Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Contact us via the quote form, email, or phone. We'll have an initial conversation to understand what you need, then send a detailed, fixed-price proposal within one to two working days.
Do you work with businesses outside Yorkshire?
Yes. While we're based in Leeds and work closely with Yorkshire businesses, we work with clients across the UK. Most of our process works remotely: video calls, screen sharing, and shared documents.
How much does a website cost?
Website costs vary significantly based on size and complexity. Small business sites typically start from £1,200-£2,500. Larger sites with custom functionality are quoted individually. We always provide a fixed price before work begins.
What information do you need to get started?
For a quote, we need to understand your business, your goals, what you like/dislike about your current online presence, and any examples of sites you admire. We'll guide you through this in an initial call.
Web design
How long does a website take to build?
Most small business websites take 3-6 weeks from project start to launch. Larger or more complex projects take longer. We agree a timeline at the start of every project and commit to it.
Will I be able to update my website myself?
Yes. We build with a CMS so you can update text, images, and content without needing a developer. We provide training as standard.
Do you offer website redesigns?
Yes. We handle full redesigns, from improving the visual design to rebuilding the site structure and migrating content, all without losing your existing Google rankings.
Do you build ecommerce websites?
Yes. We build ecommerce stores on Shopify and WooCommerce, from simple product catalogues to complex multi-category stores with custom checkout flows.
Will my website work on mobile?
Always. All our websites are built mobile-first, meaning the mobile experience is designed before the desktop version.
SEO
How long does SEO take to show results?
SEO is a medium-term investment. Most clients see meaningful ranking improvements within 3-6 months. Some changes (particularly Google Business Profile optimisation) can show results faster.
Can you guarantee first page rankings?
No. Any agency that guarantees specific rankings is misleading you. We commit to doing the right things consistently, and our results speak for themselves. We can show you examples of ranking improvements for similar businesses.
What's included in your SEO service?
Our full SEO service includes keyword research, technical SEO, on-page optimisation, content strategy, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, link building, and monthly reporting.
Do you do one-off SEO audits?
Yes. We offer standalone SEO audits starting from £350. These are comprehensive, human-written reports that tell you exactly what to fix, with no obligation to continue with us.
Hosting & maintenance
What does hosting & maintenance include?
Our hosting package includes managed dedicated hosting, SSL certificates, daily backups (30-day retention), security monitoring, CMS/plugin updates, every-minute uptime monitoring, and priority support with a real SLA.
Do you use shared cloud hosting?
No. We run your site on our own dedicated hardware. That's what allows us to commit to a genuine 99.99% monthly uptime SLA with service credits if we miss it.
What happens if my website goes down?
We monitor every minute, 24/7/365. Critical issues get an initial response within 1 hour during business hours, 2 hours out of hours. Our Recovery Time Objective is 5 minutes, in tests we've consistently restored sites in under 2 minutes.
What is the 99.99% uptime SLA?
It's a contractual commitment. If we don't hit 99.99% monthly uptime, you're entitled to a service credit: 10% of your monthly fee for 99.0-99.98%, up to 100% for below 95%. Your personal status page is the authoritative record.
Can I leave if I'm not happy?
Yes. There are no long lock-in contracts on hosting. You can leave at any time and we'll assist with migrating your site to a new host.
Working with us
Who will I be working with?
You'll have a named point of contact who manages your project. For web projects this is typically Connor or Will, who are also doing the work, not an account manager acting as a relay.
What if I'm not happy with the work?
We build in review stages and work iteratively. If you're not happy with something, we want to know early so we can fix it. We have never delivered a project that a client wasn't satisfied with.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, if required. Just ask.
Do you offer payment plans?
Most projects require a deposit upfront and the remainder on completion. For larger projects we can discuss staged payment milestones. Contact us to discuss.
